  23. Quattro/Pro is the new spreadsheet from Borland International. It
  24. is a serious competitor to 1-2-3 and contains a menu tree to make
  25. it keystroke compatible with 1-2-3.  Finanicial Analysts, who use
  26. spreadsheets for a living, are starting to adopt Quattro as the
  27. new standard.  As you can see, the HELP SUBSYSTEM available with
  28. PullDown v1.0 is indeed powerful and flexible.  Up to 50 lines of
  29. help can be maintained for each and every selection within the
  30. system.

  97. You need to edit the PULLDWN.DEF file to make this option
  98. work.  The example is clear.  Start your text editor (NOT
  99. your word processor!) and make the needed change to the
  100. path and editor name within the definition file.

  103. Edit PULLDWN.HLP
  104. The .HLP file follows closely with the .DEF file.  It is
  105. best to create the .DEF file you want, edit out all but the
  106. % titles and then create your help screens.  Help is simply
  107. text typed below the name used to call the menu, ended with
  108. a simple sequence of '###'.  It is one of the finest features
  109. of the system, and is available to all users, registered or
  110. not.
